I suggest you ...

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

  1. Holiday / Seasonal Info in Image Overlays

Just a thought, but it might be nice to also display holidays, important dates, and seasons. (e.g., Halloween, Amelia's birthday, Christmas -- or Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall if it is not a date on the calendar). I was thinking that just using the holidays that show up on the Google calendar plug-in for example would be plenty + birthdates that are entered + seasons.

  4. Alternative overlay transitions for images

if the caption for the prior item (how long ago / where) slid to the left to be replaced by the caption of the new item, maybe while fading, but in fact overlapped with the new item for a second or two, that would feel "better". I focus on the video or photo, and don't necessarily process when/where it was until it's departing, and then I'm sorta frantically looking down to process that info as it's vanishing. You could find a nice affordance that would ease that
